Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film Review

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an action-comedy produced through New Line Cinema. The film stars Judith Hoag as April O'Neil, Elias Koteas as Casey Jones, Michelan Sisti as Michelangelo, Leif Tilden as Donatello, along Josh Pais as Raphael. The script is written composed by Bobby Herbeck. Steve Barron is the director. Steve Barron.New York City is plagued by a serious wave of crime.

Television reporter April O'Neil believes that the cause is a mysterious group of ninjas, dubbed "The Foot". A night, while April is heading to her home after work, she stumbles upon the theft. However, before the gang is able to reach her, a piece of metal breaks the streetlight and leaves the area completely dark. There is a sound of fighting and when authorities arrive to shine their spotlights at the situation the robbers are locked up and April is secured. However, she notices a weapon that is lying on the ground. It's a ninja sword. She takes it back while its owner is watching in the background and is furious that he lost his weapon behind. Then, we descend into the sewer to meet April's saviors: four teenager turtles.

Returning to their home in the sewer where their Ninja Master Splinter awaits. When they tell Splinter what transpired at the end of their alleyway, they decide to order pizza before the owner of the sai Raphael was still furious and departs to watch an action film. Then, he encounters the vigilante, Casey Jones. Casey beats him up and then flees. In the aftermath, Raph is angrier than ever. He is redirected back to the sewer and is coached by Splinter. On the next morning, as the other turtles watch April O'Neil on TV, Raph decides to pay an appointment at the local police station. He follows her to the subway, where she is attacked by a group of mysterious foot soldiers.

After they knock her unconscious, Raph saves her before they kill her. He believes that he killed all the men, and then carries April on her way back down the drain. However, there is a soldier who is with him back. When April recovers her consciousness as she is read the tale of turtles from Splinter the soldier is waiting till the turtles as well as April return to her home.

Then, he kidnaps their beloved Ninja master. When they return to their home they find the home was destroyed and Splinter disappeared. In shock, they return to April's home. The boss of April, Charles Pennington, has his own issues regarding his child Danny, who's secretly a member of that Foot group. He is able to spot the turtles and alerts the mysterious leader of the group, Shredder about their location. After almost taking out Raphael They attack the remaining turtles inside April's home. Casey Jones had secretly spotted Raphael at the time that the soldiers attacked him. He hurries over to assist the turtles. After April's home is accidentally lit on fire the fire is extinguished and she, Casey, and the turtles leave the scene.

The critics at the time the movie came out were not awestruck by this film. Rotten Tomatoes said it was "good for the heartbeat and a bit irritating for everyone else." I personally believed it to be an excellent film. These critics, I'm sure have given an unfair criticism of the film. I'm not sure what they thought it would be. It was a story about four turtles that were Ninjas. I don't believe it was intended as a standard however, I think it was. The plot is interesting and keeps your interest with its drama, action, and humor. The film has a lot of everything.

Evidently, an intriguing character in the movie is Raphael. Raphael is one of the turtles however, he is able to stand above the rest. Raph appears to have more personality at the beginning, while others are more of a group. For example, when Raph is out to watch a film by himself, he fights with Casey Jones, while the other characters stay in the sewer and eat pizza. Additionally, Raph again goes out on his own to see April and rescues April from Foot Soldiers all by himself. There is a scene in which Raph and the Foot Soldiers nearly kill him since he's only one of them and they're numerous. At first the film, he's working alone, but in the course of the story and he recovers from his injuries He becomes a part of the group, as they join forces to take on with the Foot Clan and find out the fate of Splinter.

To summarize my thoughts, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an outstanding film that is suitable for everyone in the family!
